Lecture: Public policy and policy-making process

Speaker: Dr. Diana-Gabriela REIANU
Diana-Gabriela REIANU is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of European Studies at the Babeş-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She has degrees in economics, social work and law, a master in public management and a PhD in history. Her research activity is mainly focused on public policy and the history of public administration.
She published several studies and books on different topics: about education policy in interwar Romania, social policy, housing and civil society involvement in policymaking. Besides, she is teaching now courses about Public Policies and Public Management.
In the online event on 16th April 2024, she will speak about public policy and policy-making process in the EU shown by the example of agricultural laws and will answer the following issues:
- What is public policy?
- What exactly does policymaking entail?
- What are the key phases of public policy?
- What instruments does effective policymaking require?
This lecture will be held in English with translation to RO, BG, GER, SRB & UKR
