Hi, I’m Simon and I’m doing my federal voluntary service at ILEU e.V. this year.

The Federal Voluntary Service gives me the opportunity to get to know the world of work for a year before I go to university. I hope that I can contribute my knowledge as a scout leader at ILEU and work with the team to make big changes. Part of my role is website maintenance of our important websites, such as ‘Danect and ViMA Danube’, but also creating graphics and brochures, uploading events and news, organising meetings and contributing my own ideas for new projects. What I like best is the opportunity to keep learning new things with the various programmes and the friendly atmosphere in the team

Hello, my name is Mattis and I am a volunteer at ILEU e.V. since the beginning of September 2024. For me, the Federal Voluntary Service is a welcome opportunity to regroup before my studies, get to know the ‘real’ world of work and contribute my own ideas from my experience in youth work. As well as looking after some project pages (e.g. in Ukrainehilfe and the club page), my tasks also include working with various programmes such as Canva and Umfrage online and implementing events. I am also the contact person for the online language courses. We volunteers have been very warmly welcomed into the team and I’m looking forward to helping develop new analogue and digital projects.
