Our current Projects
Ukrainehilfe „разом в ульмі“ /Ukrainehilfe “Together in the Ulm”
ILEU e.V. engages in its daily work with people of all origins and ages – only in mutual cooperation can a peaceful life in solidarity succeed.
Since the beginning of the war of aggression against Ukraine in violation of international law, ILEU e.V., together with other organisers, associations, companies and numerous volunteers, has been committed to helping refugees from Ukraine. Already in the first days of the war, people from Ulm and the surrounding area have shown themselves to be incredibly helpful and committed. Together with our partners, we from ILEU e.V. set a sign against war, against hatred and discrimination.
ViMA – Virtuell.Mitmachen.Aktiv (Virtual.Participate.Active) in Ulm, is an open, multifunctional online platform that is intended to become a digital meeting place for citizens of Ulm. The forum offers the possibility of a search-bid function, discussion forums, information exchange on areas of interest, current news and more. The aim is to give citizens the opportunity to exchange ideas and make contacts in a protected space.
In addition to VIMA-Ulm, the ViMA Danube platform was created, which gives people from different Danube countries the opportunity to communicate with each other via machine translation in English and the Danube languages. The Ukrainian language currently plays a major role, which helps the people arriving from Ukraine and the many helpers to overcome language difficulties. The site was presented to the public at the International Danube Festival 2022.
Living Intangible Culture
The international project “Living Intangible Culture” (In-Cult) aims to build bridges between adult education organisations and learners from the (South) East (Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia) and (South) West (Germany, Spain, Italy) of Europe through the unifying power of the common European intangible cultural heritage.
In-Cult is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
“Virtuell verbunden – Seniorinnen & Senioren in Baden-Württemberg”
which is the detailed name of the project – aims to bring people into contact with each other and offer you the opportunity to participate in activities and events of your interest via the new media. The project, funded by the Ministry of State of Baden-Württemberg, offers online events via Zoom that are easily accessible and can be attended free of charge.
